What qualifications or experience do our staff have?
At Leap Frogs Action Sports And Games our experienced team of staff have qualifications in either teaching, coaching or early childhood. All staff:
- have participated in games, sport program and leadership training.
- are first aid trained and carry a first aid kit in case of minor injuries.
- have successfully completed the ‘working with children’ record check.
- are covered under the businesses public liability, professional indemnity and workers compensation insurance.
What type of payments do we accept?
- Payment options include direct deposit, cash or cheque (business only not personal).
- Direct debit details will be provided when invoiced.
What are our booking, cancellation and refund policies?
To avoid disappointment for your preferred time /date, all bookings should be confirmed with us as soon as possible. Enquiries alone cannot be assumed as confirmation.
For Parties and Events:
- A 30% non refundable deposit is payable upon booking. The final amount MUST be paid prior to or on the date of the service. We accept cash, cheque or direct deposit.
- Refund policy: If the customer gives more than 2 weeks’ notice of the cancellation a refund of the full price minus the deposit will be made. The full fee will be charged if cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the party. In the case of bad weather, we do not supply a refund if you cancel on the day, we will however suggest a wet weather option upon booking.
- For the Multi-Sports Program
- Full payment is required to secure your booking. All bookings are non-refundable. A make-up session is only possible if classes are not already full and must be booked in at least 24hours before a session. Each child can have a maximum of one make-up class per term. 24 hours notice must be given if your child is not attending a session, otherwise this will forfeit the right to go on the make-up class list.
FAQ’s for Children’s Parties, Corporate and Community Events
How many people can participate in the games and activities?
- The games can run with small or large groups, from as little as 8 to as many as 200 people. The larger the group the more games leaders you will require. Rest assured each party will be staffed by highly qualified games leaders.
How long do the games and activities run for?
- Most games sessions will run for approximately 1-2 hours; however we will happily organise the games schedule to run for half or full days in the case of special community or corporate events.
- For all children’s parties we suggest the children and/or participants arrive half an hour before the scheduled games to ensure all are present at the start of the games session. After the games session we can help organise the children to gather around for cake or to sit down for some food and drink.
What locations are suitable for running the games and activities?
- Our programs can be designed to suit any location.
- All games and activities can be run in a variety of different places such as parks, community or school halls, in your backyard or at your place of business.
- We will travel to your chosen destination, set up the equipment, run the games session and pack away all equipment at the end of the party or event.
What happens if it rains?
- We have developed a range of games and activities that can be played in light rain, indoors or in confined spaces such as your garage, family room or undercover area. Upon booking we do suggest a wet weather back up plan.
What does my party package include?
- Your party package includes a unique games plan designed especially for you, the use of a range of dynamic and exciting equipment, highly qualified games instructors, Leap Frogs Action Sports And Games party invitations, and certificates of participation for all participants. The certificates will be handed out by the games leaders at the end of the games session.
Do you have any party invitations we can use and how do we access them?
- Yes, we provide Leap Frogs Action Sports And Games party invitations that can be downloaded and printed from your home computer or at a photo shop. Upon booking we will deliver them to your inbox for easy access and printing.
FAQ’s for the Multi-Sports Programs
What programs do Leap Frogs offer?
- We currently offer 2 programs depending on age and ability level. When deciding which group best suits each child, we take into account the child’s age as well as their physical, social and emotional ability.
- The Frogs Program for 2 – 3.5 year olds
- The Lizards Program for 3.5 – 5 year olds
How many children are in each class?
- Classes can run with a minimum 4 children and maximum 8 children. The small class numbers allow for maximum participation and a greater one to one interaction with the child and teacher.
Can my child try out a class?
- Your child is welcome to try out a class if the class is not full (we do not exceed 8 children in any one class). Please contact Adele on 0425140970 to discuss availability for trials.
Will my child do the same sports every week?
- Yes your child can start at anytime during the term, the price will be adjusted to suit the number of remaining weeks.
Will my child do the same sports every week?
- The Leap into Life program is a multi-sports program, meaning they do a variety of sports. The sports include basketball, hockey, athletics, soccer, football (AFL & Rugby), athletics, cricket & T-Ball. Children are also exposed to a range of activities that development fundamental movement and loco motor skills, such as throwing, catching, hoping, jumping, skipping, leaping, balancing, running and side galloping.
How long do the classes run for?
- Each class runs for 45 minutes and typically runs for the 10 week school term (except if affected by a public holiday) in which the fees are adjusted accordingly.
What happens if it rains?
- All classes are held indoors so it’s on rail, hail or shine!
Can my child make up a class if they miss a session?
- If you have provided at least 24 hours notice and a space is available in another class then your child can attend a make-up class. Your child is only entitled to one make-up class per term.
What does my child need to bring/wear/do?
- Children need to bring a water bottle that’s clearly labelled with the child’s name on it; they should wear loose fit clothes and sport shoes. All children should be toileted before the class begins.
